Most businesses treat email like an afterthought. They send a newsletter when they remember to, throw in a discount code, and wonder why nobody opens it anymore. Email is still one of the highest-return channels in marketing, but only when it’s built like a system instead of a habit.

What We Actually Do

We don’t just write emails and hit send. A campaign starts with figuring out who’s on your list, what stage of the buying journey they’re in, and what would actually make them care. From there, we build out:

List segmentation – Grouping subscribers by behavior, purchase history, or engagement level so nobody gets a message that’s irrelevant to them.

Sequence design – Welcome series, abandoned cart flows, post-purchase follow-ups, re-engagement campaigns. Each one has a job to do.

Copy that sounds human – No corporate filler, no “we hope this email finds you well.” Just clear writing that respects the reader’s time and gets to the point.

Subject lines worth testing – We run A/B tests on subject lines and send times instead of guessing what works.

Deliverability checks – An email that lands in spam does nothing. We look at sender reputation, authentication setup (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), and list hygiene before we worry about anything else.

Why This Matters More Than People Think

A lot of businesses pour money into ads and social content, then let their email list sit untouched. That’s a mistake. The people on your list already know who you are. They gave you their email on purpose. Converting them costs a fraction of what it takes to win a stranger’s attention on a paid ad.

The catch is that email marketing only works if it’s consistent and targeted. One blast a quarter won’t build the kind of trust that turns a subscriber into a repeat customer.

What Success Looks Like

We track open rates and click-through rates, but those aren’t the real scoreboard. What matters is whether the campaign moves people toward an action: a purchase, a booking, a signup. We report on that, not just vanity numbers.

A Few Things We’re Upfront About

Email marketing takes time to compound. The first month usually looks like list cleanup and infrastructure work. Results build from month two or three onward as sequences mature and we learn what your specific audience responds to. If you need overnight results, this isn’t that channel; paid ads are better suited for that.

If you want a second opinion on your current email setup, or you’re starting from zero, we’re happy to take a look and tell you honestly whether it’s worth investing in right now.
